This is more of a minor annoyance than a serious issue. I see in dblog that I am getting this a few times a day - unfortunately it seems to be most often with the CEO. I am getting a"Page not found" on URLs like http://www.example.com/valid_category/-//W3C//DTD%20XHTML%201.0%20Strict//EN. Obviously someone is picking up some of the DOCTYPE information. Has anyone else ever seen this? Does anyone have an idea how to get it fixed? Nancy E. Wichmann, PMP Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. -- Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.

Maybe a theme template error. Does the site have more than one theme available to the user? -- Earnie -- http://progw.com -- http://www.for-my-kids.com
Do you log the referer? That should point you to the offending page. -Craig On Tue, Aug 17, 2010 at 8:25 AM, Earnie Boyd <earnie@users.sourceforge.net> wrote:

Hostname is a somewhat private thing that ideally you wouldn't share in the future. This does say that the referrer is "/" which is your site's homepage. Is the HTML of the homepage valid based on a w3c validator? No, just a Zen-based theme. Nancy ________________________________ From: Earnie Boyd <earnie@users.sourceforge.net> To: development@drupal.org Sent: Tue, August 17, 2010 9:25:18 AM Subject: Re: [development] Wierd URL in logs. nan wich wrote:

Is the URI itself perhaps generated from an HTTP request to resource that does not exist and is returned a 404 page where it is chopped of at the error page's DOCTYPE line break? guessing, -Rob On Tue, Aug 17, 2010 at 9:55 AM, nan wich <nan_wich@bellsouth.net> wrote:
