[drupal-devel] "My Projects" on drupal.org -- broken?
I am logged in as my username on drupal.org, but when I go to "My Projects" (http://drupal.org/project/user) what I see is a list of *all* projects. Is this feature b0rk3n, or am I doing something wrong or misunderstanding what it's for? Works for me perfectly (displays my projects :) Goba
Is it showing for you because you have projects? If so then it should be made so that those that have no projects don't see it. "My" projects leads one to believe that it is something they have control over or influence with another action. Carl McDade Gabor Hojtsy wrote:

My reason for clicking this link falls somewhere in between, actually. I have no *previously existing* projects, but I just used "create content" to add my first project. I was using My Projects (the link) to check and see if the site owners had approved my project yet, or if it was still awaiting approval. When I go to My Projects, however, I see *all* projects. That seems quite counter-intuitive. Scott -- -----------------------+------------------------------------------------------ Scott Courtney | "I don't mind Microsoft making money. OK, should the link disappear or should a "you own no projects" message get displayed? Goba
Hmm, "you own no projects" gets my vote because there is the likelyhood of the person clicking on the link being a developer wanting to contribute. Carl McDade Gabor Hojtsy wrote:

If the link disappears, then one can't click on anything to see *whether* one has a project [yet], so I'd say the link should stay. If it went away, you would probably have people wondering "how do I know when my project is published by the site admin?", since there would be no obvious way to check for themselves. guys, please open an issue at drupal.org and discuss it there. we really don't need to debate the wording of this link on a list with hundreds of subscribers. my .02 -moshe

OK, just fixed in the project module code. Will show up on Drupal.org when they upgrade the site code. Goba
