Expressions of interest for paid community portal project
Hi, I'm seeking skilled & experienced Drupal developer(s) to work on a community portal project, incorporating jobs, classifieds, business listings, homes for sale & rent and other functionality. This is paid work for a commercial venture. To register your interest, please DON'T reply to this list. Reply to my email address or to communityportal@caignwebs.com.au (temp address only available for a week). Be advised I'll be looking for resumes, references and most importantly, examples of tight, elegant code. I know this is a technical forum but I thought some of you would welcome this opportunity - please forgive me if you don't agree. Thanks -- caign

Actually, I don't mind people posting on the development list if they look for paid development. After all, we profit from it ;) As most developers are reading this list anyway... Any sane reasons why that should not be allowed? Konstantin Am 29.09.2006 um 16:08 schrieb Khalid B:

Topic and signal to noise ratio is the reason. If you want to pursue consulting opportunities, then subscribe to the consulting mailing list, the feeds of the Paid Drupal forums, ...etc.

And/Or read this guide page "Howto: Hire a Drupal Site Developer" http://drupal.org/node/51169 Which advises those techniques and using the list of service providers in the handbook and from the profile pages: http://drupal.org/services http://drupal.org/profile/drupal-services Regards, Greg -- Greg Knaddison | Growing Venture Solutions Denver, CO | http://growingventuresolutions.com Technology Solutions for Communities, Individuals, and Small Businesses

This person has already posted to the [consulting] list. He did not reply to a request for more (and more clear) information. It's hard to know if this is an actual job offer or just a person looking around for some cheap labor. ;) -- inkfree
