I'll throw this one out there because I won't get to it myself for a couple of weeks at least: Yahoo Web Services' Term Extractor API http://adactio.com/journal/display.php/20060116025204.xml http://developer.yahoo.net/search/content/V1/termExtraction.html Thoughts: a) Would be a *brilliant* way of autofilling tags in the folksonomy modules b) Could enable Google/Yahoo Adwords users to throw those tags at ad invocation and massively increase the relevance of contextual ads for Drupal users. I want b) so much, I'll probably write it. jh

I actually remember Rasmus showing this off (while it was still in beta perhaps?) at PHP Quebec last year and thinking it had some really cool potential.

yeah, I don't see myself personally having much time to get around to it in the near future... but definitely I'm +1 for the idea :) -- James Walker :: http://walkah.net/ :: xmpp:walkah@walkah.net

If you do, consider it in a generic (API?) way that adsense.module can use it.

I believe both adsense and banner work with taxonomy terms, so should work with that. I could ask Rasmus to present about this at OSCMS in Vancouver. -- Boris Mann Vancouver 778-896-2747 San Francisco 415-367-3595 SKYPE borismann http://www.bryght.com
Adsense has no knowledge of taxonomy. Banner does. On 1/18/06, Boris Mann <boris@bryght.com> wrote:
