internal messaging among users for Drupal 6.x?
Hi folks! Not sure if this fits support or development...sorry for cross-posting. What is the logical solution to providing interface for internal messaging among users for Drupal 6.x? I need just basic inbox & outbox view, and compose, reply & forward forms. Is there a specific Module? something being ported from 5.x or made new for 6.x? Regards - Zeljko
There is some work being done in the privatemsg module. It is not ready for prime time yet, but it should be Real Soon(TM). (the drupal-6.x version is I think a completely new implementation and does not use much of the 5.x code.)

http://drupal.org/project/privatemsg http://drupal.org/node/202348 for port to drupal 6 /restart of module. 6.x-1.x-dev nightly: http://drupal.org/node/268824 The module does need a few more eyes on there, but I do suspect that it will become very useful within a short period of time. (Disclaimer: I am not its developer.) There is also a pm_lite module out there, no idea what state that is in.
Zeljko The development list is not the correct place for these questions. The development list is for development type questions only (code, ...etc.) that do not fit in a specific issue queue.
