Primarilly, we moved the get_fields_in_index to a new class Drupal_Apache_Solr_Service which extends the old Service class. This makes a lot more sense, but is almost certain to break many contrib modules, etc. Since we are working towards a 1.0 release, there is probably additional refactoring to consider, so please try to write tests, and forgive us as we make this a more extendable platform.
