I totally redid my implementation to move the filters, pagers, and selected checkboxes/radio buttons under the viewselector form element (like the date field does). While it is not as nice in terms of returning data, it is much more stable and better supports future development (i.e. passing any form element into the system to be put on each view row). Slickness. Still much to do, but it is working well and I should be able to rejigger into a views patch later in the week.
