As image.module is not in core it does not belong in my sandbox. I accepted this condition and now I'm in accordance with this condition. I'm still thinking about how I will continue this work, which has the 'permission' of walkah the image module maintainer - not that this matters. Options I see are: 1) create an issue for image module and dump a 100K patch in there. 2) create an issue for image module and dump 100 1K patches in there. 3) commit the changes to the CVS-HEAD of image module. 4) commit the changes to a new branch of image module. I'll sleep on it to see how (not if) I'll continue from here.
