The module has been completely rewritten, documented and enhanced with hooks that may be used by 3rd party modules to enable translation of custom fields. It is the basis of a new concept enabling multi-language support in Drupal core. Unlike previous attempts, this will follow the Drupal way. An extended draft of this concept will be announced soon.
