The first thing I would try is the -dev version. Then post you issue in the module's issue queue.

taxonomy terms don't translate on my node forms. The terms themselves
are translated (and they translate fine on node display, I've set the
localised formatter). I'm using i18n version 7-1.0 (taxonomy and field
translation are enabled). There are some 'older' issues about it but
they claim it's fixed and those issues are closed so I'm guessing I'm
missing a configuration somewhere. Any clues ?
