While there are lists of what others think are necessary, the answer for you is really individual. Of all the modules - and suggested lists - the only contributed module that I have used universally is Pathauto (well, before D7, that meant Tokens too). Yes, I even have a simple site that doesn&#39;t even use Views or CCK.</div>
