Weight module will work, however you can also use Nodequeue module (https://drupal.org/project/nodequeue) too.

I think the standard order is the post date. So changing the post date will change the order.

I have a weird issue.

but I cannot find a way to move the article after it is created.

Please, point me to the right direction.
