Yes phpmyadmin can do a search across the entire DB. You can also do a search and replace on a table by executing the following:
UPDATE `table_name` set columnname = replace(columnname, 'search', 'replace‘')
Where table_name, columnname, 'search' and 'replace' are the values appropriate for your situation.

values in a table.
What i would do is downloading the "files" table, open it on a text
editor and do a search for that string and eventually replace the
values (links).
Is there a smarter way to work with tables? For example: i am sure
that phpmyadmins has got some useful tool.
