Yes, the site is live and functioning fine. I don't know if I have access to the Apache configs (I doubt it), but wouldn't know what to do if I did. At any rate, the configuration has been in place for years.

This is most likely a an issue with a default Apache configuration. For
this reason I recommend that people leave the default "It works!" page
in place and don't touch the default Vhost, but rather add a second
Vhost to the Apache config.
