If the charset parameter of html_entity_decode doesn't work (try UTF-8?), you might have to use regular expressions during migration.

Hi all. I need to import an old CMS DB to drupal. I'm importing one
content type where the old "title" is like "Rhapsodie Espagnole, Ma
Mère l’Oye, Boléro ecc."

I need to transform è to "è", à to "à" and so on.

I have thinked to use html_entity_decode() but there is a problem:
"è" is transformed in a strange char, and node->title are stored
like "Rhapsodie Espagnole, Ma M l’Oye, Bol ecc".

Where is my error ?

Tnx.
