We are now on 7.4 you should update.

Try clearing the cache.

Is this a new install or is it an upgrade (from 6x to 7x)?

Are you 100% sure that you installed 7x? (silly question I know)

I installed and configured Drupal 7.2 but after successfully installing

Drupal script the information about website says Drupal Version as 6.x

Drupal	6.22

Any idea why?
