okay.
this is strange that images wont show up on other subsites in
multisite mode.
there is nothing in the node table for each image pointing to which
subsite it was added under.
yet, when you try to view an image node, the image only shows on the
subsite it was added under..
the other sites just get the node name and comments without an image...

Sorry, I'm missing what your are seeing. Can you provide some links?

see

or
see

versus
http://puntamona.org/en/node/401

big thanks for this!
ryan.

Since the node # is the same I'm assuming your are sharing tables between
the sites. Do you have a common {files} table?

Pat

woah.
i am feeling fairly stupid right now.  i guess this is why no one has mentioned this on drupal.org!  hehe...
the problem was that i was once using acidfree (bad idea) and sharing the "file" table.. not the "files" table... doh!
i was able to combine all the files tables together using openoffice calc and phpadmin's text import (way COOL) and that works... because THANKFULLY there is no FID in the node table... whew..
see http://thefractal.org/node is now fully working
i just love drupal.. you can hack it and really screw up but it just wont BREAK!!!
  like no other CMS EVER!
one question... why, if im sharing the sequences table.. are there seperate prefixes existing in the name field of the shared sequences table?
i am sharing thefractal_sequences.. and in it i have a fid sequence field for each site like puntamona_files_fid and realenergy_files_fid? why is that?  the subsites are not using these extra sequence fields but they are there... wierd..
and a shameless try to fix another problem while i have your attention...
each time i add a comment i get these errors in watchdog
