99% of the time I build a subtheme using Zen.

IMO http://drupal.org/project/zeropoint seems to be setup pretty good out of the box.

ANother question .... what are themes that work fine with D7?

I read all (if I am not wrong only 134 for D7 using the filter for version)

I downloaded some of them and the only one that workked fine is Marinelli 7.x-3.0-beta9. I was looking not too plain and not too simple and of course not too fancy .. I tried several but some send errors, at least on my configuration.

Take care all. Thanks in advance

Hi Jorge,

There is some sort of an "issue" with the active menu trail in D7.  I use the very popular menu block module for sidebar menus and such.  I am presently using the Superfish module for dropdowns.

Hello all.

I am learning and studying Drupal. Actually on version 7 since my
hosting company (with CPanel) only provide version 7 as option for
instaltion with Fantastico. I have been playing with version 7, it
works, have had some issues that are very simple and do not work
(like having a menu link under a parent one, it just lost the child
menu and does not appear in any place. Anyway I am not sure if it is
a Drupal BUg or I am doing something wrong. Since I can install
rapidly I am starting from zero again to se if maybe I damaged
something in some way.

For starters. Do you think it is better to downgrade to 6 (I can
install it manually). Or continue with 7?

I have read that 7 is better and easier to learn for newbies.

What would be your advice?

Thanks in advance
