I am using the active-trail class to style main menu items when they are of all things active.  The active-trail class is not being inserted into the markup for contact and/or search links which I added manually through the menu screen to the main menu.  I found a known issue here <a href="http://drupal.org/node/942782">http://drupal.org/node/942782</a>.  I am wondering if this is what I have or if there might be a workaround.<div>
