Check the memory_limit, this could a problem.

- Folder permissions are wide open
- No errors in drupal or php logs
- temp folder set up and permissions wide open
- cache cleared
- Imagecache flushed

I am not sure what else to check. Is the old testing domain stored
somewhere on the site?
