I even get the message The content type &lt;Human readable name&gt; has been updated.<br>

I am coming across a very frustrating problem. I want to rename my content types &quot;Human readable name&quot; but they keep on reverting back to the old name the instant I press save content type.<br>I even went inside the database to change the content type name but it still reverted to the old name.<br>


The only method that works is if i also change the system name &quot;the machine-readable name of the content type&quot; before the name can be changed. But some are not editable since it says &quot;This field cannot be modified for system-defined content types.&quot; so i cannot change the name in the human readable section nor the machine readable name.<br>
