I'm going to assume that "Image Gallery" means D6. I don't think D&D is going to work. In D7, you'll have to change galleries. I suggest Media Gallery, where D&D works just fine.

In my website, I have an Image Gallery here:

I am trying to determine a way to allow dragging and reordering of images in the gallery.

I came upon the Sortable Grid module that appears to promise to do just that.

Problem is I just cannot determine how to make it work. The only doc I can find is on the same page under "Getting Started". But it does not tell me what to do to make my existing Gallery View sortable.
