Happy to help, Bill. The Firebug extension allows one to right-click on an page element and "Inspect element" which allows traversal of the DOM and analysis of CSS property source. This is essentially the screenshot I posted. The Firebug wiki may be of assistance http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Carl:After thinking a few minutes, I see that the last menu I added was wrapped, shifting the entire display to the right, so I couldn't see the content. Anyway, thanks again. Very easy fix, but troublesome for a newby like me.Regards,BillOn Nov 18, 2010, at 12:51 PM, prothero wrote:--Carl, that is SO AWESOME! A complete fix in minutes, amazing! You have truly turned this from a very discouraging day into a very nice day. Thanks!Looks like I've got to get into using Firefox so I can find these errors myself. So, if you can bear with me just a bit more, what did you do to find the error so fast? I have FF and Firebug installed.Or, is it just that you know Drupal so well that you went to the right place? The best,BillWilliam A. I did back up the database and deleted the link to the offending menu, but I'm afraid something got corrupted. I can hardly bear the thought of starting over.My site is:If anybody is willing to look at this, please contact me at prothero@geol.ucsb.edu. I will give you my admin login info.
