I **had** got the usual warning at the beginning of the week, but had
paid on the early morning of May 15th or 14th, and got the
confirmation that the payment had gone through without
problems... I've already sent a ticket to my registrar.

Good deal. Looks like they've applied the renewal now.

A side note related to the with or without www. There is a clause in .htaccess to redirect the "www" page request to one without. Change the example domain info to yours.
