Hi Nancy,

As I understand it Field Groups is for grouping fields together for presentation on the site, it doesn't change the way each field is stored in a separate table in the database.. I may be wrong and if someone can confirm this it would be great..

Thanks..

Subject: [support] Multiple fields in a table rather than one per table?

Hi,
I am wanting to create some custom fields in the user profile but it seems that D7 creates a new table for each field which isn't logical in some instances..
For example I want to get users to put in their addresses on their user profiles.. So I want to have fields for..
House number
Address line 1
Address line 2
County / State
Country
Code
By default this would create 6 tables..
How do I get D7 to create a single table with the 7 fields?
Thanks for any help..
