I would like to replace the "Read More" text with an image. I have installed the string overrides module to no avail. Not being a css guru I am not sure if I can do it that way. Right now I am getting the background image, which I want, *and* the text, which I don't want. In settings.php: $conf['locale_custom_strings_en'] = array('Read More' => ''); But you might be able to hide the text even while applying the background image. Nancy On 9/6/2011 7:54 PM, tony maciejowski wrote:

Thanks. Just what I was thinking but, as said, I am no css guru. tony mac is building web sites. -----Original Message----- From: Nancy Wichmann <nan_wich@bellsouth.net> Sender: support-bounces@drupal.org Date: Tue, 06 Sep 2011 23:33:52 To: <support@drupal.org> Reply-To: support@drupal.org Subject: Re: [support] Read more text -- [ Drupal support list | http://lists.drupal.org/ ]

Thanks Earnie, In the course of my research I saw this module but does it facilitate squelching the text itself? Have you used it? Thanks Tony On Wed, Sep 7, 2011 at 5:39 AM, Earnie Boyd <earnie@users.sourceforge.net>wrote:

I've used ed_readmore. I don't have a D7 site up as yet. I basically used it to theme the text but you should be able to use it to at least provide yourself an example of what can be done. -- Earnie -- http://progw.com -- http://www.for-my-kids.com
Text can be themed but not edited. Thanks.... am now deep into views. This video, though maybe outdated, is a good resource for others who might need: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MSr3UnRkPI On Thu, Sep 8, 2011 at 5:39 AM, Earnie Boyd <earnie@users.sourceforge.net>wrote:
