No, that sounds close to
it. /me goes to read on it. Drupal.css has a designated width for
that field and I tried to add a clear. Guess I added it
wrong.
It looks like a float issue, or related to z axis and position.
Your form fields are floating, with a designated width, I'd guess. The
labels are floating next to the other box. If you set that form wrapper to clear
all or float none, that should do it. Adding !important sometimes helps when it
comes to overriding drupal.css settings.
Does this help, or am I way off the mark?

Greetings,
Evidently I am doing something consistently wrong
and don't know enough to figure it out. It has to do with Drupal.css and
something I am doing. Without Drupal.css it doesn't do this (but other
stuff doesn't look pretty) so I'd rather figure out what it is I am doing
wrong.
This screen shot shows what the problem
is....
and this is the current state of my
port.
Obviously I am missing something basic. Any pointers or smacks
upside the head would be appreciated. Currently the theme is live on
beta.blkmtn.org. I've allowed user registrations and turned on story
type to allow for ayone to create an account or use your @drupal.org account
to log on and create a story type content to see. Happens in FF1.5 and
IE6
