OK, I'm going to try to start this group up.

Going to begin by having folks post a note expressing interest at the 
following forum:

When there's a permanent home for Drupal users groups, I'll move 
everything to it. (probably groups.drupal.org?).

If you don't live near San Diego, you could still post a note in this 
forum showing your support, give tips, whatever.
