I know its only 4.6 at the moment but have you looked into the
jobsearch.module? http://drupal.org/project/jobsearch.  There is also
an extend version with more features...

Two new node types, 'job' and 'resume' are defined by this
module.Using roles, you can restrict certain users to be able to post
resumes and others to post jobs.
