RE: "Not your call, mom. It's over when the people discussing it are
done. Don't like it? Don't read it."
I tend to read a lot of stuff I don't like. Really, it's not that big a
deal -- the notion that I would only encounter things I like is equal
parts optimistic and misguided. But, this is the consulting list. As the
email I quote below indicates, this list has its roots in a desire to
"help each other get good at quick and effective drupal configuration
for clients."
It's also good to keep in mind that this list is one of many places
where we present our public, professional face. When I write to this
list, I am aware that potential clients can read my posts, and judge my
professionalism accordingly. This google thing works good, so I've heard.
Cheers,
Bill

Hello,
I met Boris at the Drupalcon in portland earlier in the year
and in our discussions, we started talking about the appropriate
place to talk about installing sites for others. Not development,
not setups for yourself, but simplifying installations for
others.
Out of that conversation came this list. I have been working
a long time in system administration and Internet service providing.
I have recently sold a couple of drupal installations
to clients. And I have been installing drupal for several
non-profits in the area.
I hope that we can use this list to help each other get good
at quick and effective drupal configuration for clients.
Welcome to the list.
