I agree whole heartedly with Boris, and I encourage you to go ahead  
and post your site recipes with or without an install profile. I've  
been browsing d.o and g.d.o and looking for things to try turning  
into install profiles. I saw this <http://groups.drupal.org/node/ 
2260> the other day and thought to myself, "that's the basic outline  
right there for an install profile," and I've started playing with  
some code to see what could be done. So please go ahead and post your  
recipe, you never know when someone will come across it and take the  
idea and run with it!
