It seems valuable to me.  A while ago dww asked on
infrastructure at drupal about the use of module specific forums or
groups or (...other ideas).

I created http://groups.drupal.org/paths for modules related to paths
(pathauto and urlify).  There's already a group related to issue
tracking systems.  Perhaps that would be the best place for these
kinds of posts.
