I haven't been following this whole thread, but just in case it hasn't
already been mentioned, passport-holders of many countries are
eligible for the visa-waiver-program, meaning you don't need a visa.

And the full list of countries whose passport-holders are eligible;
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Cook Islands, Denmark,
Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan,
Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, New Zealand, The Netherlands,
Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, and the United Kingdom

Of course there are many folk wanting to attend who don't have
passports from those countries...
