i heard first hand from the communications director for the one of the 
top three races targeted by the dccc that a drupal was cool.

this hasn't translated into paid work, and i didn't work the second 
half of the '08 cycle -- the d-trip hires were idiots and what will be 
a safe seat after the 2012 re-apportionment was lost on when the seat 
was re-contested in 2010, and i didn't work the '10 cycle while my 
partner was doing 1l at cornell law, but i suspect that in the 
electoral campaign market "drupal" has some value. the same may be 
true in the issue campaign market.
