Jason,
How is your prospective Ubercart project different from http://www.dealextreme.com or http://www.lightinthebox.com ? I had a peek at each, and I'm sure myself and others would like to know how different it is before attempting to proffer a Drupal + Ubercart solution. Would you mind describing your goals in a little more detail?

The idea is that my company manages the website, shipping, and money while the vendors source products to sell. I wouldn't charge any fees except a percentage of what the item sells for. If you have any interest in this project please contact me, skype at ps2chiper and gmail at ps2chiper at gmail.com
