Well said, Matt. I completely agree with you. 

I find I am often having to switch perspectives, skillsets and responsibilities at the drop of a hat (I'm sure you're all familiar). We have to both keep in mind the big picture as well as all the details. And not just our clients' big picture but our own, and our actions within the global economy; the effects our profession has on the larger world (and the latest bug in the Media_Gallery issue queue). It's great we have a place to discuss the entire spectrum, despite what some might think is a lack of focus: I rather think of it as an expression of the breadth and depth of our professional concerns, and apropos.
