[drupal-devel] rejected patch feedback for new developer

I am new to Drupal development and recently submitted
a patch that allows site searches to be limited by
taxonomy or taxonomies.  

My patch was rejected by a drupal developer and I am
just looking for feedback from the community so that I
might know how to make my patches more acceptable in
