The idea was originally that a new ajax.module was to be created,  
which would include all these new features so that
contrib modules can start using them so long (as well as requiring  
the ajax module).


Is there anything stopying anyone from copying and pasting just those  
functions to a seperate module, or maybe even a 'inc'?
