I think you mean "pat".

In any case, the wording sounds different to me. it seems he is moving
away from Drupal and since the modular is not highly popular, then the
request will not be entertained.

That is all.

Going back to the module: the main issue if someone else is willing to
maintain it, and hence the original request.
