[drupal-devel] Filtering comment subjects

Greetings,

I'm using bbcode.module on a site and I'm seeing comment subjects with raw
bbcode in them.  I checked comment.module and subjects aren't run through
input filters, so any input filter could end up in comment subjects.  Is
there a function that can strip filters that could be applied to comment
subjects when they're created?
