Ah, thanks for the link to the patch queue!  I never thought of using 
the project module in such a way.  I always assumed Dries used e-mail to 
learn about patches and so I was worried mine got lost in all the 
traffic. Now I know better. And using your helpful link, I was able to 
determine that my patch never got to the queue because I failed to 
change the status to "patch."

I feel stupid.  At least I learned something in the process.  Thanks!
