Sorry, I meant to say: back to that endless discussion about push vs pull 
system. We had some parts that were pulling conentent in the past, though. 
Allthough I cannot remember where an how exactly.

Nop, My comment was a bit cynical. I like the ability of themes doing their 
stuff where they watn to (pull), but I would not want to be forced to do 
this. Hence a phphtemplate is a nice hybrid solution. IMO we should keep it 
like that.
