The infamous form API patch has been committed.  Great work guys!

However, we aren't there yet:

   + The contact.module was broken; a new patch for contact.module is  
needed.
   + Module upgrade instruction are needed.
   + The most important modules need to be updated ASAP.
   + The most important patches need to be updated ASAP.
