Hello world,

I committed an initial version of the install system to Drupal core!

If something is out of whack or if there is room for improvement,  
please report it on http://drupal.org/node/68926.

There is room for improvement/extensions (like requirement checking  
and more advanced install wizards), so I hope we can start working on  
these next.
