Indeed!

The current situation allows *me* to set up an (almost) perfect menu for the
owner of a weblog-Drupal. Or for the webmaster of a complex portal site. Or
for a client who manages the content of his brochure website.
Together with one or two nice HTML-ified nodes (type page), containing icons
and other fancy stuff, you have the Perfect Admin Interface....
   ... For your situation ...

PS: The only thing we *might* need is even more flexibility (granularity in
access permission most of all). Because sometimes some all-or-nothing forces
you to give a client a lot of complex interfaces- E.g. "administer nodes" is
required if you want to allow your moderator to put nodes on the frontpage,
but that means he gets about five admin pages "for free".
