I wish people would stop saying that.  Drupal is not MVC in the slightest.  
It's a PAC architecture.  Two very different things that many many people 
keep confusing.  (I blame Sun.)  That's not a bad thing, but please don't 
confuse the two as it only leads to more confusion and architectural 
breakdown.
