No reason. :P Actually it's stable and the code is clean, I just haven't

I actually don't even use Notify at all which is why I can't spend much 
time on it as I've sold out to The Man.

I've made you co-maintainer as I know your work. I'll always be around 
and willing to review stuff if you harass me enough, and I agree having 
multiple maintainers is good.
