In my experience this module is sometimes not up to the task. For my
site I needed to share nodes across the sites, so what i did was table
sharing in the database via prefixes in the settings.php.

the result is on www.airportcitizen.net, when you check the icons on
the map all the reviews are visible from all the pages. when using
prefixes be careful of the cache prefix bug, if using stock drupal 5.1
