I've been searching for this for quite some time.

I need, with Apache, to retrieve the AUTH_USER from Global Variables

IIS return this to me easly, just need to set Authenticated mode in IIS configuration screen.

But how to accomplish that with Apache? Which module? Which .so file??  Is it native or I need to download a new .so??


Thanks for any tip to point me in the right direction :)
