[development] How could everyone win

[As If Productions]

1. Views is too big for core
2. Views is too popular *not* to go into core
3. Views Lite should go into core
4. but there is no such thing

Under these conditions, an install profile seems like the most 
expedient solution right now.

Ultimately, I think core should use a lot of the logic (if not the 
literal code) that Earl has thrown into Views.  But I feel that's a 
very long-term project.  D9?
